Third Grade Pajama Party

The third graders, with the guidance of Mr. Ohlson, wrote very persuasive letters asking Mrs. Marsh for a pajama day. Of course, she couldn't resist. Therefore, on February 16th the third grade class had a pajama day filled with pajama day related activities. We did things from reading about a polar bear and llama in pajamas to following directions to decorate cupcakes with pajama people. We also learned about the history of beds, bedrooms, and pajamas. It was a fun-filled day! Thank you Mr. Ohlson for initiating such a fun, yet comfortable day!

Valentine's Day at Viaero

The third and fourth grade classes took their annual Valentine's Day field trip to Viaero Event Center for a day of ice skating. We would like to thank the many parents that provided for the pizza lunch before taking the ice. A special thank you to Niki Halvorsen for organizing the luncheon. It was delicious and gave us the energy we needed for skating! We'd also like to thank Axtell School for allowing us to take the coach bus. The students felt very privileged to arrive in Kearney in such style! Other than a few bumps and bruises we had an amazing day!

Girls Junior High Basketball Team

The 2016-2017 girls junior high basketball season came to a completion on February 16. The final record of 2-5 doesn't show how much growth and improvement the team made throughout the season. I was very fortunate to get to be a part of this team. Thanks to all the parents for support, staff for their flexibility, bus drivers for transportation, and the girls for their work and attitude.
