The third graders went on their end-of-the-year field trip to North Platte. We had a very eventful day. Our first stop was The Golden Spike Tower where students learned about the world's biggest rail yard and other interesting facts about the history of the railroad. Our next stop was a picnic lunch at Cody Park. We took some time to view the animals they have at the park...geese and ducks, deer and elk, buffalo, llamas, and peacocks just to name a few.
