James L. Dimon Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for a graduating senior at Axtell Community School. For use at any college, any program of study. Due April 15. Application

Nebraska JCT 6/10 Cruzerz Scholarship Must be enrolled in a Nebraska technical or trade college and be a freshman in the fall semester of 2017 majoring in an automotive related field. 2.75 GPA. Due March 24 Application

Ft. Kearny Conference Future Educator Scholarship Fund, Kearney Area Chamber Ag (Paid out in the Second year), Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Mark Benjamin Building Opportunity Scholarship Due April 1 Applications and eligibility information available Here

CPI Cares Scholarship Program CPI offers several several scholarships in two categories. One is for the dependent of a CPI patron and one is for the dependent of a current full-time employee. Both are targeted for graduating seniors or students in the first or second year of post secondary education. Due March 31. Application is online here.

Better Business Bureau Student of Integrity Award This is for graduating seniors. Scholarship recipients will be selected by independent panels of judges from the academic and business communities in Omaha, Lincoln, Sioux Falls and Wichita and will be awarded based on the following judging criteria:

•Essay Content=50% •Community Service=20% •Leadership=20% •Recommendations=5% •Academic=5% Due March 10. guidelines fillable application

Glenwood Telephone Membership Corporation GTMC Scholarship For graduating seniors who are continuing their education at an accredited 4 year college, community college, or technical/trade school. Applicant or parents/guardians must receive GTMC telephone service. Due in Counselor's office March 31. Glenwood fillable

Chet Linder Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for a current graduating senior intending to continue his/her education. The recipient may select any college or university, but must intend to major in business or a business related field. Due March 1. Chet Linder

Future Problem Solving Program Scholarship For graduating seniors with at least two years experience in FPS. Due March 1. FPS Fillable 

Phelps County 4-H Foundation There are six scholarships available, one in the amount of $2000 and up to five additional in the amount of $1000, to past or current Phelps County 4-H members. Due April 1 Phelps 4-H

Nels and Lucille Winther Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for any graduating senior in Kearney County who plans to attend any accredited 2 or 4 year college. Committee will be considering academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular activities, record of good citizenship, character attitude toward education, community service and financial need. Due in Counselor's office March 1 Winther Fillable

Jim Hurlbert Memorial Baseball Scholarship This scholarship is for Nebraska American Legion Baseball players who are in their last year of eligibility and/or a graduating senior. Must show financial need and attend school at a Nebraska college or university. Due June 15 Jim Hurlbert

Maynard Jensen American Legion Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for graduating seniors who have a parent, grand parent, or great grand parent who is a veteran and member of the American Legion. Other criteria are to attend a college or university in Nebraska and be able to show financial need. Due March 1 Maynard Jensen This is a fillable form.

Phi Gamma Delta White Owl Scholarship This is for an incoming male student to UNK. Eligibility is based on academic performance, leadership, community involvement and your answer to the application question. Membership in Phi Gamma Delta is not a requirement. Due April 28 White Owl

Nebraska State College System Freshmen Scholarships For a complete listing of NSCS scholarships and applications go to NSCS. Deadlines vary, many are renewable and are for all three state colleges. (Chadron, Wayne, and Peru)

Nebraska Coaches Association/Country Inn and Suites Scholarship Upper 25% of class –OR-3.75 Cumulative GPA, 2) Must be at least a 2 year participant in 2 sports, 3) Must have earned varsity letter in 2 sports, 4) Must include at least one letter of recommendation from a high school coach, 5) ACT minimum score of 24 Due April 17 updated Application

Axtell Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department Scholarship For an Axtell student. Primary emphasis is on volunteerism. Fire & Rescue Due April 1

Lillie Mae Krick Memorial Scholarship Must be resident of Kearney County for at least 2 years, enroll in a Nebraska college, university or tech school, have at least a C average. Lillie Mae Krick Due March 1.

Axtell Student Council Scholarship This scholarship is for a graduating senior at Axtell. Due to Mrs. Webb April 1.
