5th grade read "I Survived the American Revolution 1776" by Lauren Tarshis and then was able to join a live video chat with her. We wrote questions to her asking about her writing process, generating ideas, and even got to listen to an excerpt of her newest book "I Survived the Night of the Lions 2025".
