We are looking for some sports minded people to help us out with activities this fall. We are in need of line judges for volleyball, and chain crew for football. We are also looking for someine to announce games. All of these positions are paid.
Axtell is well represented at state baseball in Broken Bow this weekend!
Volleyball conditioning week will begin August 1. Conditioning will run from 8:00-9:00 am. This is not mandatory, but all conditioning work is completed by every athlete either next week or the first week of practice. Please bring indoor and outdoor running shoes.
Future Stars Volleyball Camp will begin August 1. The camp is for girls entering grade 4-8. Many of you have signed up already, but we can take a few more if you are interested. Camp begins at 1:00 and lasts until 3:00. Thursday, August 4 will be the final day of camp.

The Axtell and Minden FFA Chapters are excited to be teaming up for cow pie bingo at the Kearney County Fair! Tickets can be purchased anytime during the fair, bingo will be on Sunday, July 31st.

Thank you so much to all the teams who came out to compete in the Axtell FFA Tug a War Contest and help raise funds for wildfire relief in Nebraska! A special thank you to Fox Fit for letting us use your rope. In the youth division the winning team was the Blue Team and in the adult division the winning team was the Black Sheep.

The FFA officer team spent Thursday and Friday at COLT (chapter officer leadership training) Conference. Students learned more about their office positions, networked with other students and started planning for the upcoming year.
