Weight room membership fees are due Monday, June 3, 2024. An invoice was emailed to existing members last week so please check your emails! Access to the weight room will be shut off if fees are not paid by June 3rd.
OMORROW is The Sarah Nelson Memorial 18th Annual Axtell Donate Life 5K Walk/Run this Sunday, May 26th. Thank you to everyone who has registered, sponsored the event and donated to the cause. We continue to be blown away by the support we get each year and especially this year as we honor sweet baby Oaklynn Fishell. 💜💜
Here are a couple reminders:
💜 Registration opens at 1pm in front of the Axtell school main entrance. You can pick up your shirt here. You can also register and/or donate by clicking the link below or in person on Sunday. Cost is $25/person.
💜 The event will begin at 2pm with a brief welcome and group picture.
💜 This is a family fun event! If you don't run, that's okay! Most participants walk and you will see lots of strollers and bicycles too! It's great time for all of us to honor Sarah and Oaklynn and raise awareness for organ donation!
💜 Proceeds support the Axtell Cheerleaders and Live on Nebraska (formerly Donate Life) in memory of my beautiful sister, Sarah and sweet baby Oaklynn Fishell.
💜 Tropical Sno Cones will be available to participants following the event to honor what would be Sarah's 39th birthday (May 31) compliments of the Sarah Nelson family. 🍧

The Axtell FFA will be hosting a chalk drawing contest during the Axtell Memorial Day Celebration following the parade. Kids 12 and under are welcome to enter, we will have prizes for the top 3.
State golf is now scheduled to begin at 11 am due to weather.
Due to the forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning the Class D Boys Golf Championships at Lake Maloney Golf Club on Day 1 will be delayed by 1 hour for Tuesday, May 21.
Any additional changes will be communicated via email and the NSAA Social Media Accounts.

If your student was eligible for Free or Reduced-price meals in SY2023-24, they will receive a Summer EBT card with $120 in funds to use on nutritious foods during summer break. Boys track team wins the class D state track meet!!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local communities to serve free meals. There are no income requirements, and any child under age 18 may eat. There are two ways to locate a summer meal site location:

Just a reminder that all items should be turned into the library to be signed out on Wednesday. this includes library books, Chromebooks, Chromebook bags, and chargers. If items are not returned then they will need to be paid for.
