6th Grade Social Studies wrapped up exploring South America! They learned about the Inca social levels and then compared them to The Emperor’s New Grove characters. They even had the privilege to listen to Mrs. Hall speak about her personal experience visiting Peru and viewed some artifacts. Thank you Mrs. Hall for providing this experience for the 6th graders! 🌎🦙🇵🇪
Kaitlyn is 5th grade’s 3rd quarter Cat Cash winner! Kaitlyn had an excellent quarter! She stayed organized, was a great classmate, an amazing helper, and so much more! She did a great job of showing her classmates the #WildcatWay! Way to go Kaitlyn!! 🤍🐾💜 Miss Kirschenmann is SO proud of you and all of your hard work! 😊🥳

Super GenCyber Girls is back again at UNK this summer. This camp is funded by the National Security Administration and National Science Foundation to encourage our rural area middle schoolers to engage in fun concepts centered around cybersecurity. We do a series of activities on cybersecurity concepts, programming with microcontrollers, programming (and drawing) with robots, escape rooms, and a host of other engaging activities.
We are champions of the idea that cybersecurity is not taught by only sitting in front of a computer. Instead, we use a variety of physical movement incorporated directly into cybersecurity learning. Who knew cybersecurity could be this fun?
