Did you know Nebraska's state soft drink is Kool-Aid and that it was invented in Hastings, NE?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEBRASKA‼️ We can't believe you're 156 years old! 😱 Middle school social studies had a blast celebrating YOU and even were visited by the Kool-Aid man! OH YEAH‼️

The preschoolers brought a stuffed toy for story time. One even had a snake just like in the story read by Mr. Lorenz.


Axtell Community School will utilize the alternate bus route pick up points through Friday, March 3 for both AM and PM routes. The pick up points and times will remain the same. The condition of the county roads are unsafe for bus travel and students safety is always a concern. Bus route parents please call Vicky Olson at the school office to confirm your student routes the remainder of the week.

Read Across America week is off to a great start in Preschool. Mrs. Eutsler read a story to the class and we had a yummy snack while wrapped in our blankets! Tuesday we can wear animal prints and bring a stuffed animal.



Due to unsafe county road conditions Axtell Community School will use bus route alternative pick up points this afternoon, February 27 and both routes tomorrow February 28. The pick up points are Funk School at 7:25 AM and 4:05 PM. Riverside Trailer Park at 7:20 AM and 4:00 PM. A & M Ag at 7:35 AM and 4:10 PM. Bethany Lutheran Church at 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Bus parents please call Vicky Olson at the school to verify student riding arrangements.
