5th grade read "I Survived the American Revolution 1776" by Lauren Tarshis and then was able to join a live video chat with her. We wrote questions to her asking about her writing process, generating ideas, and even got to listen to an excerpt of her newest book "I Survived the Night of the Lions 2025". This book will be available in September 2026! 🫖🇺🇸📖🦁
In March, 5th graders went on strike against the British's ridiculous taxes! They learned about peaceful protesting and the effects that the American colonist were facing. 🪧🇺🇸🔔🫖

The Elementary Quiz Bowl Team had a great day in Omaha yesterday! We enjoyed the Kiewit Luminarium and immersed ourselves in the components of STEAM! Afterward, we enjoyed a visit to Hollywood Candy & Spaghetti Works! 🏢🍭🍝🔬📡👷♀️🎨🧮
